Artist Bio: Amanda Quinby has worked as a frame conservator since 1989, splitting her time between Easthampton, MA and Tucson, AZ. Her expertise is in the conservation and restoration of gilt frames. Some of her clients include the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Duke University of Art, the North Carolina Governor’s Mansion as well as many galleries and private clients. Quinby has also penned numerous articles for The New England Antiques Journal and has written award winning screenplays.
