Amy Howansky is a jewelry-maker and horticulturalist who uses natural materials in her work. She designs necklaces, earrings, and bracelets made from wood, bamboo, seeds, coconut, bone, shell, and gemstones. You may also see floral or animal motifs in some of her pieces.
Amy lives in Niskayuna, NY, where she gardens and creates art. She is currently working on several film projects that feature local people, showcase local history, and promote local sites.
