Item Description
This is a rare collector's item for any Jamie Moyer or Phillies/IronPigs fan. This bobblehead features Future Hall of Famer and local Major Leaguer Jamie Moyer donned in his Souderton Indians uniform from high school. Also included is an autographed 2007 Upper Deck Series 1 Baseball Card of Jamie Moyer, Phillies Pitcher. (Autographed card donated by Jim and Joan Moyer)
Jamie Moyer, a sixth-round draft pick by the Chicago Cubs in 1984, spent 19 years in the Big Leagues with six different teams before joining the Philadelphia Phillies in August of 2006 after being traded by the Seattle mariners, a team with which he spent 11 years. Moyer went 56-40 with a 4.55 ERA in 123 games with the Phillies from 2006-2010. The southpaw's best season in Philadelphia came in 2008 when he went 16-7 with a 3.71 ERA for the eventual World Champions. The Souderton High (PA) graduate made his first adn only World Series start that season allowing three runs in 6.1 innings in a pivotal Game Three win for the Phillies. Going into the season, Moyer is 267-204 with a 4.24 ERA over his 24-year career.
