Framed artwork by Dr. Joel Curran. Known in the art world as J. Danforth. "Quick Dance" commonly known as "Simple Gifts" Reproduction on parchment paper; From the original "A Collection of Marching Songs &c", New Lebanon, 1858 in the archives of the Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield, MA. Signed by the artist.
In 2007, Joel began to experiment with the use and arrangement of recyclable magazine and catalogue paper in geometric and multi-dimensional patterns – subtitled reconfiguration. Other papers were introduced including art paper, Japanese handmade paper, and wallpaper. Current venues are Concepts of Art, WIT Gallery, Lenox, Canyon Ranch, Indalo Gallery, Newton, MA
