The David Wills House
The David Wills House features five museum galleries and two recreated rooms, the David Wills Law Office and the Lincoln Bedroom. The Eisenhower National Historic Site
The Eisenhower National Historic Site is the home and farm of General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Located adjacent to the Gettysburg Battlefield, the farm served the President as a weekend retreat and a meeting place for world leaders. With its peaceful setting and view of South Mountain, it was a much needed respite from Washington and a backdrop for efforts to reduce Cold War tensions. * Tickets expire 11-30-2013.

The Cyclorama, Film and Museum Experience
In the late 1880s, French artist Paul Philippoteaux took brush to canvas and created the Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama painting. He spent months on the battlefield researching the Battle of Gettysburg with veterans, a battlefield guide and photographer. It took Philippoteaux and a team of assistants more than a year to complete. The result is a breathtaking oil painting that measures 377 feet in circumference and 42 feet high. Longer than a football field and as tall as a four-story structure, the Gettysburg Cyclorama painting immerses visitors in the fury of Pickett’s Charge during the Battle of Gettysburg. First watch the Gettysburg film then witness the drama of the Gettysburg Cyclorama for yourself exclusively at the Museum and Visitor Center. When you see the Gettysburg Cyclorama, you’ll see it the way Paul Philippoteaux originally intended. Together with a sound-and-light program, an overhead canopy and a three-dimensional diorama foreground that realistically features stone walls, broken fences, shattered trees and a cannon, the experience is so moving that it may bring you to tears, just as it did for many Civil War veterans who saw the Gettysburg Cyclorama years ago. * Tickets expire 11-30-2013.

Soldiers National Museum
Discover artifacts and memorabilia from the Civil War and other major American conflicts. The museum also features beautifully crafted miniature dioramas of ten major conflicts of the Civil War as well as a life-sized narrated Confederate encampment. The museum is located in the former home of the Soldier’s National Orphanage. Fort Sumter – Charleston, SC April 12, 1861 the war begins! It was April 12, 1861 at four o’clock in the morning, night still lingered in Charleston, South Carolina. Darkness lay over the harbor, hiding the squat outline of Fort Sumter. At dawn, the flag of the United States was raised over it. Shortly after, there was a quick flash, like heat lightning. Then there was a red glow and the roar of a bursting bomb.
