Item Description
Take your choice when you win two passes to any of the following tours: Terror Trail, Witch Trial Tour, or Salem Secrets & Treasures.
WITCH TRIAL TRAIL
The Witch Trial Trail is Salem's oldest walking tour. This popular one hour outdoor candlelit tour, led by well-known historian and author Jim McAllister, explores the sites and story of the 1692 witch trials, Salem's darkest hour.
THE TERROR TRAIL
This spooky 75-minute candlelit tour features tales of local murders, spectral assaults, and haunted houses. The walk, developed by Witch Trial Trail creator Jim McAllister, includes the stories of "Crayon Boy," the "Sheriff", and other alleged haunters of local buildings; the eerie saga of the phantom crew of the fishing schooner Andrew Johnson; and a number of bizarre episodes related to the Salem Witch Trials. Patrons will also hear the story- and learn the "story behind the story" of a famous local murder.
Salem's Secrets & Treasures Tour
Colorful anecdotes and fun facts highlight this entertaining yet informative stroll through Salem’s downtown and waterfront neighborhoods. Discover the city’s connections to Nathaniel Hawthorne, “Monopoly”, Alexander Graham Bell, “Bewitched”, American presidents, “The Crucible”, and other significant people, places and events.
