Item Description
Eloise Larson describes her work as both a "direct and indirect result of my Buddhist practice of meditation, dharma study and living."
"What I Learned", an original artist's proof, is based on Ms. Larson's reading of several translations of The Lion's Roar of Queen Srimala. She was asked to give a talk about her at a women in Buddhism celebration at Shasta Abbey Monastery in Mt. Shasta. A series of prints came naturally in her preparation for the talk and were used to explain what had come from her study. They are titled, “Deluded by the Dharma #1 and #2”, “I Am the Tathagata”, “Nescience Entrenchment”,” The Four Defilements” and “The Active Defilements”.
