Item Description
An amazingly rugged all original Buddy L Texaco "550 Series" Toy Tanker Truck from 1959. Advertised as "Guaranteed Indestructible" these all-American toys were made from the same steel owner Fred Lundahl used to make automobile parts in his Moline Indiana plant. Named after his oldest son, Buddy L, they were BIG, heavy duty, and not an iota of plastic. This one 24" long. The metal truck is in good condition, showing some wear, decals are questionable. It would make a handsome and masculine gift for an oil, gas, or trucking enthusiast's office shelf. This truck's value would be more than $200 if it had the original decals. It's yours for a significant discount because of the decals.
