From Renee: "I collect found items from nature and use them as the form to build on or as a mold to work from. As an artist much of my work has been influenced by my love for nature. This piece comes from a series I created from collected objects I found on my walks. I use these gifts from nature as a form to build around, as I did with this pod, or as a mold to work from. This pendant was sculpted from a pure silver material called PMC. The 22" necklace is beaded from faceted gray agate. The clasp is sterling silver with a delicate charm of PMC and a freshwater pearl."
