Item Description
Bear Description: The 41st Bear is an unexpected and exciting addition to the 2012 Bear Fest roster. Transformed from the stolen and vandalized parts of 2009 Bear Fest entry, Chrome Bear, this bear can be seen as a phoenix rising from the ashes. Reborn fresh, naked, and white, the lucky winning bidder will have the opportunity to contribute their vision to this bear's already infamous history.
Artist bio: When all is said and done this bear will have had three different artists contribute his appearance. The original artist, Michael MacTavish, adorned the bear in a shiny silver reflective paint that resembled chrome. The second artist, 2009 and 2012 Bear Fest artist Gary LaCroix, restored the damaged bear into its original form and painted him a matte white. The final artist will be the winning bidder who can transform the bear into whatever it is their heart desires.
