Item Description

Gather 20 people for a two hour sail on the Lady Maryland; relax and enjoy Baltimore's Harbor from its best vantage point, the water! Delicious cocktails and seasonal hors d'oeuvres will be provided for you by the Waterfront Kitchen during the reception aboard the ship. The Lady Maryland is Living Classrooms Foundation's signature schooner, a replica of a Chesapeake pungy schooner. It was the first project for LCF, built on the shores of the Inner Harbor and completed in 1986. Since that time she has sailed over 200,000 students up and down the Eastern Seaboard and to all five Great Lakes.

After your sail you will tie up dockside at Living Classrooms' Douglass-Myers Maritime Park campus and disembark for dinner at Waterfront Kitchen. The staff will be awaiting your arrival and ensure you enjoy an elegant three course dinner with wine pairings. The dinner menu will be pre-selected by Nationally Acclaimed Chef & Wine Connoisseur Jerry Pellegrino. Waterfront Kitchen is the latest joint project for the Foundation, it both supports the BUGS (Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students) program with a percentage of its profits, and uses the produce the BUGS kids grow in its menu.

Item Special Note

Winner must call for reservations. Date to be mutually agreed upon between winner, the Lady Maryland and Waterfront Kitchen.
