Down In the valley, valley so low….Ansel Adams captured a glimpse of America the beautiful!
This breathtaking photograph reproduction print, matted and measuring 21 x 17," presents a view of Canyon de Chelly as seen from a mountaintop, in 1941.
From the National Archives description page: “In 1941 the National Park Service commissioned noted photographer Ansel Adams to create a photo mural for the Department of the Interior Building in Washington, DC. The theme was to be nature as exemplified and protected in the U.S. National Parks. The project was halted because of World War II and never resumed.”
The project may have ceased, but this historic work of art can now be displayed proudly in your home or office!
