Enjoy an Ultimate Safari Adventure with 3 of your friends at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park! This package includes a Jungle Ropes Safari, a Flightline Safari, and a Rolling Safari.

Jungle Ropes Safari - Climb, balance, swing, and zip through the trees on the Safari Park’s Jungle Ropes Safari! Challenge yourself with this daring experience that offers three different courses, each one containing more than a dozen elements. With rope bridges to cross, aerial tightropes to navigate, swinging log steps to negotiate, short zip lines to soar on, and moving platforms to cross, among many other thrills, Jungle Ropes Safari is for adventure seekers ready to try out life in the treetops. At some points, you’re more than 35 feet off the ground!

During your hour-long adventure, you’ll use a Smart Belay system to travel through the courses at your own pace, with staff available for assistance if necessary. Each course offers a different challenge level—try one, two, or all three. You’ll put on a safety harness and be given instruction by trained staff prior to entering the Challenge Level 1 course—then it’s up to you to make like a monkey and swing!

Flightline Safari - Flightline Safari is the ultimate recreational experience for those looking for excitement. Secure and comfortable in your harness, you will soar as high as 160 feet above the ground with rhinos, deer and more in the fields below you.

The Flightline experience includes gear, an orientation, and a "fledgling" line to practice taking off from a platform and successfully landing. This first Flightline run is 470 feet long and carries you through fragrant, shady trees.

Once "fledged," you board a truck for a ride to the upper launch area of our main Flightline. Once you learn the ropes, your guide hooks your harness onto the sturdy cable "trolley" and you're ready to fly the friendly skies, landing safely near our campground at the Park's Kilima Point!

Rolling Safari - Here's a cool way for the adventurous to see the Park: on an off-road Segway® X2! This wildly unique tour takes you off the beaten path and up close to many of our Asian and African animals. First, we'll teach you how to pilot your Segway X2, a two-wheeled electric personal transporter designed for off-road travel that's easy and fun to ride. Then you're off on an incredible adventure as a tour guide leads your small group on both paved and dirt paths around our huge field exhibits.

You'll comfortably and quietly roll past herds of exotic wildlife, stopping at several scenic spots along the way to take photos and hear amazing stories about the animals in our care. Your adventure includes an introduction to the fun of riding on an Segway X2 and a chance to practice riding it in a safe, controlled area before heading out to see the animals. This is one wildlife adventure you won't forget!

Item Special Note

You must 13 years or older. There is a maximum of two (2) children ages 13-15 per adult in each party. Children ages 13–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or older during the entire experience and sign a liability waiver. Children 16-17 may participate alone, but must have a parent or guardian 18 years or older present at the orientation to sign the liability waiver. Participants must weigh between 100-250 lbs. and fit comfortably in a harness. Secure, closed-toed shoes are required. You must be able to wear a protective helmet (helmets will be supplied and are mandatory) and be able to stand unrestricted for a two-hour time period. People with heart conditions, nervous disorders, back or neck injuries, persons subject to motion sickness, and pregnant women cannot participate. No alcohol may be consumed by a participant within six hours prior to the tour. Admission into the Safari Park and parking are included. Safari tours are subject to availability. Expires 9/1/13.
