An introduction to Zoë and Christine, the Co-Owners and Color and Stylist Directors at ZØKU SALON AND SPA STUDIO in Summit, NJ. Located across the street from the NJ Transit Midtown Direct train line, clients from the tri-state area as well as talented hair stylists from NYC find it an easy and very worthwhile commute.

A private consultation will be given to you by Zoë and Christine during a careful study and analysis of your hair. At the conclusion of your consultation you will be given a Shu Uemura gift set including cleaning, conditioning and styling products specifically matched to your hair. You then will be treated to a rejuvenating facial in the ZØKU Spa.

Zoë CORTEZ-STARICCO

Throughout her career Zoë has been a highly sought-after colorist in the industry. While she has transformed some of Hollywood’s hottest names, Zoë makes each client feel as though they have celebrity status. Her work has been featured at countless events including New York Fashion Week and her color signature with multiple layers of contrast, has often been seen gracing the beauty editorials of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and InStyle. Zoë has made numerous television appearances to discuss the latest trends in hair and fashion and has designed looks for several on-air personalities, TV shows and major motion pictures. “My role is to help each person achieve a look from start to finish. In order to do that, you have to be completely invested in the process. From reshaping the brows to dramatic color changes, everyone has beauty potential and it’s my job to help you find your personal style.

CHRISTINE KU

Christine merges years of work in high-fashion editorials with an inventive ‘wet-to-dry’ cutting approach to infuse movement, texture and beauty into every style. Carving invisible layers into each cut, she envisions the hair in terms of its positive and negative space. This approach allows the emergence of a unique style that will grow out beautifully, is easily maintained and is long lasting... With more than 20 years experience, Christine’s artistry has taken her from New York to Hong Kong, Toronto to Europe. She has worked with numerous fashion photographers as well as with celebrity artists including Gwyneth Paltrow, Paris Hilton, Spice Girls, Nathan Lane, Vanessa Williams, and many more. From the fashion week stages to the fashion pages and covers of Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Elle, Nylon, Black Book, Rolling Stone, InStyle and Esquire, Christine’s work has appeared around the globe.
