- About "Winter Blues"
Winter Blues, was created from a low light digital photograph of snow covered pines. The image was manipulated to highlight the blues then (inkjet pigment) printed & painted repeatedly, slowly building up layers of pigment on black printmaking paper. The completed print was mounted to a (silver leafed) board and painted with encaustic to protect the print and add texture.
