Relax your four-legged loved one with Reiki.
Reiki II practitioner Sherron Varela will provide a 30-minute session of this calming technique for your cat or dog. Reiki is a Japanese technique used for relaxation and stress reduction that also promotes healing. It has been described as a spiritually guided life force energy.
A Reiki session can be performed with or without touching the recipient, even over long distances. Reiki energy, when applied, seems to have an intelligence of its own, flowing where it is needed and creating the healing conditions necessary for the individual's needs. It cannot be guided by the mind or misused in a negative manner, and since it is "life force energy," it is not limited by the experience or ability of the practitioner.
While there are many testimonials to the ability of Reiki to heal a variety of ailments, it does not take the place of medical or veterinary care. It may, however, be used in conjunction with traditional medicine.

Please note that, while Reiki is intended to be calming and relaxing and may help alleviate symptoms of discomfort or distress, it is not intended to replace traditional veterinary care.
For an in-person session, winner must live within 45-60 min. from Middletown, NY.
No restrictions on long-distance session, which can take place via phone, email, or regular mail.
