The Foundry Golf Club facility in Powhatan, Virginia, is an 18-hole private facility that features 6,833 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.8, and it has a slope rating of 131. Designed by Raymond F. Loving, Jr., ASGCA, the Foundry golf course opened in 1992. The Foundry Golf Club caters to a small group of members so they can provide a relaxed but special golfing experience. In 2009, the club was renovated, including greens, fairways, bunkers and tee complexes. The club has a caddie program that will enhance the golfer's enjoyment with a round of golf. The Foundry Golf Club offers one tee time for four golfers (a foursome) for one round of 18-holes. Golf casual attire required. Tee times limited on weekends after 1 p.m. and anytime during weekdays. No golf cars. Caddie required and caddie fees are the responsibility of the golfer. Advanced tee time registration required. Certificate expires December 21, 2012.
