Two Cabernet Sauvignon, Private Tasting for 6 - Herb Lamb Vineyards, St. Helena, CA
Herb Lamb Vineyards produces small lots of HL Cabernet Sauvignon from its hillside vineyard in the foothills of Howell Mountain. They also make Two Old Dogs Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.
You’ll be treated to a private tasting at the winery with Jennifer and Herb Lamb.
Right now, you’ll receive two bottles of very limited production 2009 HL Cabernet Sauvignon, presented in a logo wood box. The nose is expressive and pretty, showing red fruits and a rich blueberry reduction. In the mouth, you sense a richness of fig, ripe plum, deep black cherry and blackberry.
You can feel the finesse and elegance on the palate highlighting the sweet red fruit flavors with spicy, toasted oak flavors and silky, elegant tannins. Mike Trujillo is the winemaker.
Private tasting to be arranged for a mutually agreeable date. Valid through August, 2013.
