Item Description
For one or two people for the Winter Series which begins in January. Entitles one member to use the 2 passes for all ten films or to share with another guest; getting 5 passes each. Benefits package comes with membership.
Cinema Sundays begins with a simple brunch - we offer a buffet of Sam's bagels with cream cheese, gourmet Coffee Mill coffee, tea, and steaming hot chocolate. Doors open at 9:45 for brunch and conversation. The film begins at 10:35.
Each program is presented by a guest speaker, who introduces the film and leads the lively post-screening discussion. The pool of guest speakers includes critics, filmmakers, and experts on topics covered by the films.
Titles are generally announced the week before each screening on this web site and in the Today section of The Baltimore Sun each Friday.
Cinema Sundays patrons have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of excellent films and enlightened by the dynamic guest speakers. Regardless of their experience, audience members are encouraged to participate in the lively post-screening discussions.
