Item Description

Photography, 16" x 22"

This photograph was taken at sunset on Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  The image captured is that of a rock as it makes its final entry into the icy water.  The abstract nature of the splash in conjunction with the sunlight glistening off the water makes for a sunset image unlike any other.

Artist - Christine Ravesi-Weinstein

Christine Ravesi-Weinstein has been an amateur photographer for 16 years.  She is self-taught and only recently began sharing her work.  Earlier this fall, she participated in her first show and took second and third places.  She enjoys framing and matting her photos and the majority of her work centers around landscapes and the abstract.
