Item Description
Metal, 18" x 10" x 3"
Barbara Ottmar’s love of abstract art came from her relationship with her grandmother, an abstract expressionist artist who studied under renowned artist, Hans Hoffman. Barbara believes that this style best allows her to showcase her humorous outlook, which she depicts in most of her work. Her popular “HA HA” line developed out of her passion to portray love and humor.
Barbara Ottmar draws her inspiration from life experiences, which have taken her from Italy to Argentina, Japan and finally the US. Her work has been featured nationally in several galleries and in permanent collections. In 1979, she founded Tatutina, a company that provides happy & fun hand-painted room accessories. Tatutina products can be seen in stores, catalogs and websites across the US.
