Item Description
Acrylic, 14 1/4" x 14 1/4"
A circa 1969 pattern that has stayed with the artist. Mim created a stencil that replicated her vague memory of the wallpaper in a room on the second floor of her childhood home. She’ll never know if she's accurate, but personal recollections are completely entitled to creative license.
Mim Brooks Fawcett is the Executive Director of the Attleboro Arts Museum. She has received training at NYC’s Art Student’s League, holds her BA with high honors in Graphic Design and Cinema from The State University of NY at Binghamton, and has also received an MFA in Graphic Design from BU. Her fine art has been shown in Boston area galleries and examples of her graphic design are found in the Attleboro Arts Museum’s communications portfolio.
