Item Description
This package includes a gently used Speedo Zone Select Camp Backpack (signed), 2012 Jr. Pan Pacific Championship T-shirt, Black Speedo Wool Cap, Foothill Swim Cap (signed), Olympic Trials Photo, and Speedo USA Swimming Water Bottle.
Celina Li, a senior at Foothill High School, swims year-round for the Pleasanton Seahawks. She has verbally committed to Cal in September. She is a member of the United States Junior National Team for the 2012-2013 season after finishing 6th in the 200m IM at the Olympic Trials in June. Her best time in 200m and 400m IM this year 2:13.34/4:42.17 both ranked 41st place in the world.
Based on her performance at the Olympic Trials, she was selected to compete for Team USA at Jr. Pan Pacific Championship in Hawaii in August. She won silver medals in 200m Fly, 400m IM and a bronze medal in 200m IM . In August Celina also competed at the Far Western championship for PLS in San Jose and at the US Open in Indianapolis, IN. After a long week of the Open, she stayed at Indy continually trained for Jr. Pan Pac and helped the team to medal in the relays at Jr. Nationals. It was a very long journey and hard-working month for her.
In May, Celina won both 200y IM and 100y Fly for Foothill High School at the California North Coast Section Championship (NCS). She broke the meet record in the 100y Fly and led her teammates to finish 8th place in the 4x100 Free relay. Go Falcons !
She was very happy to accept the World Cup Junior Team invitation from USA swimming to compete in Moscow and Berlin this October.
