The Grand Canyon Railway's "Railway Getaway Plus" package includes vintage, round-trip, first-class train travel for two from Williams, Arizona, to the south rim of the Grand Canyon; live, Old West entertainment from cowboys and musicians; a two-night stay at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams; and two buffet breakfasts and dinners per person at the Grand Depot Café.

The Grand Canyon Railway made its first journey to the South Rim in 1901, long before Arizona was dubbed the "Grand Canyon state." With the arrival of the train, people could get to the legendary canyon with ease and comfort. The first-class train travel boasts oversized, reclining seats with plenty of leg room and grand picture windows that enhance the scenic journey.

The accommodations at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel offer guests comfortable lodging in a picturesque Western setting. Designed to resemble the century-old train depot that housed the original Fray Marcos Hotel, opened by the Santa Fe Railroad as a Harvey House, the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel provides a relaxing retreat before embarking for Grand Canyon National Park.

Subject to availability. Reservations required at least four weeks in advance. The bearer must pay a Grand Canyon National Park service fee of $8 per adult, paid at the time the reservation is made. All hotel stays are for two people (unless otherwise noted); are subject to availability; cannot be extended beyond the specified expiration date; and require advance registration, notification of certificate use at the time of reservation, and presentation of original documentation upon arrival. A credit card may be required to confirm a reservation. Lost or stolen vouchers/certificates cannot be replaced. Taxes and any resort fees are the responsibility of the guest unless otherwise noted. Since some blackout dates may apply (especially during holidays and special event periods), AH&LEF recommends to our bidders that they have a few redemption dates in mind in order to avoid disappointment. We have noted all restrictions in the item descriptions that were provided to us. We do not have the ability to confirm the availability of specific dates or rooms.
