Item Special Note
There is really no rhyme or reason to Pam’s design. Her intentions were to create something that was fun and inspirational. Pam loves collage and was inspired by collage artist Kelly Rae Roberts and the words of hope that she infuses into her artwork. Pam’s hope is that her chair brings hope and joy to some child.
Biography: Pam Hacker became familiar with CHAIRish the Children in 2009 when she was inspired by the Herron School of Art & Design students who were participating in the event. Pam thought it would be fun to be a part of this event. Over the past couple of years, Pam’s art making has been idle and CHAIRish the Children forced her back into her creative mode! Pam received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Herron School of Art & Design in 1990, and Master of Library Science from IUPUI in 2003. She is currently an Academic Advisor at Herron School of Art & Design.
