Well, you may know it as a delicious cookie, but in Clare Grosgebauer's family, "Snickerdoodle" was a character introduced in stories by her grandfather almost a century ago.

"Snickerdoodle" a powerful pee-wee peacemaker, hails from the legendary American "Doodle" family: His uncle is Yankee Doodle; his cousin is Polly Wolly Doodle. Snickerdoodle rides to adventure in a magic "peanutmobile" (fueled by peanut butter), outwits bullies, and cuts giant-size problems down to size by using his imagination, sense of humor, and kindness.

For Snickerdoodle, laughter is a healing force and he encourages all to lighten up and appreciate the small wonders all around. For Snickerdoodle, peacemaking is easy! He sees all sorts of folks not as enemies, but only as potential friends.
