This item entitles the bidder to five standup paddleboard classes.

On board fitness classes are traditional yoga and fitness/core classes taught on the water on floating boards. Your mat is a stand up paddleboard; the world is your studio and all the elements have been invited – sun, wind, water, and earth. Enjoy learning while adapting to the motion of the board, the continuous challenge to balance, the instant instability created by minor energy and weight shifts, and the focus required to ground while afloat. Change is the only constant in life. On the water we learn to flow and enjoy the ride!

Leigh Claxton has worked in the outdoor and indoor recreation and fitness industries for more than 20 years, training recreational and professional athletes of all levels. She lives in the beautiful San Francisco Bay area where access to open space and the water are plentiful. Sharing her knowledge of the outdoors and taking full advantage of all there is around, she opens new dimensions and realities for many who might not have otherwise experienced what is out there. She is an ASI/WSUPA Certified Master Instructor and teaches SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Yoga and Fitness classes in addition to certifications and trainings.

She balances her own outdoor endeavors by teaching cycling, balance dynamics and yoga; working for Western Athletic Clubs, Endurance Performance Cycling Center, Mt Tam Racquet Club and as the owner/principle instructor at OnBoard SUP Yoga.

If you bid on a tangible item, we’ll mail your item the week after the close of the auction on November 18. We will add $4.99 to your charge for shipping and handling for small items and $9.99 for larger items. You’ll be charged the actual shipping price on items of significant weight. We will mail these the least expensive way available from the United States Post Office (i.e., media mail for books and magazines), with delivery confirmation. If you’re concerned about shipping costs, please contact auction@theoptimist.com for a quote.

Global Light Media will pack each item with care but is not responsible to donors or bidders for lost or damaged materials.

Any product proven defective will be replaced with a product of equal or better quality at no cost to the bidder. We guarantee bidders will be sent all items they won. We do not guarantee shipping delivery times.

While Global Light Media is not liable for anything beyond our control that occurs as a result of the auction, the company will reimburse any bidder who does not receive an item or experience that fulfills the description on the auction site for the amount paid to Global Light Media through the site.
