Come revel in the sound of a paradigm shifting!

San Francisco global mashup band Rupa & the April Fishes are on tour in support of their third album, BUILD, stopping in Amsterdam at the Melkweg December 8th. Produced by Todd Sickafoose (Ani DiFranco, Andrew Bird), BUILD is the band's most fluid work to date, spanning genres from ska to batucada, from R&B to folk Americana with songs that travel the road from solitude to solidarity in both directions.

The band's rousing performances have taken them around the world and back, sharing the stage with Manu Chao, playing for the Greek anti-authoritarian festival B-Fest in Athens, rocking stages large and small while bringing together a community of people who gather around their positive genre-busting sounds and empowering message.
