Dorisse Aha, RN, is a Respiratory, Movement, and Buteyko Breathing Educator, Herbalist, Visionary, Writer, Dancer and Performing Artist, and has been involved in the Wellness Movement for over 35 years. In the late 1970's in Southern California, she was an early member of the American Association for Holistic Health and the American Holistic Nurse's Association. She discovered Buteyko in 1998 through her own personal quest for healing, is a senior Buteyko educator and is considered a pioneer of the method in North America. Her vast experience ranges from critical care/emergency nursing to midwifery and home based natural health care.

Dorisse is a visionary on a mission to empower and teach humans how to embrace a new paradigm of wellness, and weave it into the fabric of their lives via the Power of Breath. Her travels and studies of dance, spirituality and healing traditions from around the world inspire her work as she teaches individuals how to reclaim their perfect health using the Breath as the perfect transformational tool. She is the founder of BreathDance ~ Wellness Through Breathing and has a private practice in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia.
