Item Description
Learn to read music and gain rudimentary skills on the recorder with early music specialist Susan Iadone. Schedule a 45-minute individual session or 90-minute group lesson for up to four people. No musical experience is necessary and all instruments and music will be provided and will be yours to keep. The lesson will take place in Ms. Iadone's Upper West Side apartment at a mutually convenient time.
Susan Iadone is a well-known early music specialist who has performed on recorder with the Metropolitan Opera on numerous occasions (including last season's "Rodelinda"). She also appears as a recorder soloist on the Klezmer CD "Lezamer" with the clarinetist Giora Feidman. A performer on historical string instruments as well, Susan has been a soloist with the New York Philharmonic, played for many years with the Washington Bach Concert and has been, for the past 20 years, the violist with the Bach Vespers Series at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She has appeared on two Hollywood soundtracks, as well as numerous legitimate recordings.
Item Special Note
The winning bidder will be notified by email and will arrange the lesson directly with Ms. Iadone.
