Jennifer Shepherd's bio:
I am a sister, a wife, and a mother. I was born and raised in San Diego and while most of my family remains in San Diego, my husband, daughter and I have established roots in Las Vegas.
My First camera was a Minolta my dad bought while in Japan in the early 1970’s. I took my first photography class freshman year of high school and have had a camera in my hand ever since. After graduating college with a degree in photography, I began assisting a few local photographers and worked full time as a school photographer. It was there that I realized my passion for photographing children, trying to capture that specific moment of innocence.
In 2003 I took my first job in Las Vegas, leaving school portraits to become a full time wedding photographer. While maintaining as a hobby, maternity, newborn, family portraits, product photography and youth sports team photography. Wedding photography became the focal point of my career. I feel so blessed as a photographer to be invited into peoples lives to document some of their most important moments they will cherish for years to come.
