Jennifer Peepas is a filmmaker and adjunct film professor who lives in Chicago. She blogs at CaptainAwkward.com, an advice column about love, dating, friendship, work, family, and standing up for yourself. The site has received over 4.5 million visitors since it began in January 2011. She's currently at work on a web series about a married couple who try to implement Cosmopolitan sex tips and a documentary about a former dancer returning to ballet.
