Item Description
The legend of the Edmund Fitzgerald remains the most mysterious and controversial of all shipwreck tales heard around the Great Lakes. Her story is surpassed in books, film and media only by that of the Titanic. The Edmund Fitzgerald was lost with her entire crew of 29 men on Lake Superior November 10, 1975, 17 miles north-northwest of Whitefish Point, Michigan. Great gift for the maritime enthusiast!
Photo was taken by Jon in 1959, when the ship docked in Milwaukee as part of the celebration for the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Photo will be matted and framed. The print size is 10 x 16, matted to 18 x 24. With the frame it will be about 2 inches more on each dimension, so about 20 x 26. Courtesy of Jon Reddin Photography.
