Champlain Adaptive Mounted Program (CHAMP) at Good Hope Farm on East Shore Road in South Hero runs summer riding camps in July and August. All riding lessons are taught by certified instructors. Camps are available for young riders, age 6 and up.
Riding Creates is open to riders of all abilities, including those with special needs, Monday through Thursday from 12.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. for one week in July. This combined riding and art experience is for children and young adults, including those with special needs. During this camp riders have fun grooming, riding, doing crafts and horse related art activities, and playing games on horseback.
