Item Description

You are bidding on 2 adult passes to Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT.

Discover American maritime history first-hand as you climb aboard tall ships, stroll through a 19th-century coastal village, explore exhilarating exhibits, and watch a working preservation shipyard in action.

Take a horse and carriage ride, through Mystic's re-created 19th-century village, interact with folks from 1876, and stroll through the Museum's gardens. Watch as historical interpreters perform sea chanteys, demonstrate maritime skills, and stroll the grounds as a townsperson of a 19th-century village. During warmer months, enjoy an interactive performance demonstrating what it was like to be a young person at sea.

Mystic's waterfront features tall ships and other historic vessels that you can climb aboard and explore. Or rent a boat from the boathouse, take a cruise aboard the steamboat Sabino, charter a boat ride, or let the water taxi shuttle you from one end of the Seaport to the other. Mystic Seaport is home to four National Historic Landmark vessels: the Charles W. Morgan, Emma C. Berry, L.A. Dunton and Sabino.

Observe skilled craftspeople use traditional methods and tools to restore the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world. Learn about the original building of the ship in 1841 in the "Restoring an Icon" exhibit.

Explore Mystic's nine gardens, view contemporary marine art at the Maritime Gallery, or step inside the Treworgy Planetarium and learn about celestial navigation using the stars, planets, and heavenly bodies of the season. Explore the permanent lobby exhibit that details 19th-century navigation.
