Item Description

New to the Gorge? Explore the area with some of the most knowledgeable guides around.

The winner of this package will receive one spot on the Hanford Reach canoe trip with Columbia Riverkeeper and a membership to Friends of the Columbia Gorge. You'll also receive a Friends of the Gorge t-shirt and hat. And we'll throw in a Gorge Owned Business Network t-shirt just for kicks.

Columbia Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore the water quality of the Columbia River and all life connected to it, from the headwaters to the Pacific Ocean. Their strategy for protecting the Columbia includes working in river communities and protecting the people, fish and wildlife that depend on the Columbia River. Riverkeeper is a leader in ensuring public involvement in the cleanup of the Hanford Nuclear Site, located along the banks of the Columbia River in Eastern Washington. To this end, Riverkeeper leads an annual float trip along the Hanford Reach, which includes a guided tour of the Hanford Nuclear Site. Learn More: http://columbiariverkeeper.org

Friends of the Columbia Gorge is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1980 to push for federal protection of the Columbia River Gorge. In 1986, Friends helped secure the passage of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Act to create comprehensive Gorge protection consistent across six counties and two states. Each year, Friends leads 100+ hikes on classic trails, hidden gems and our land trust properties not open for public use. As a member, you'll receive access to these and other events. Learn More: gorgefriends.org
