Item Description
(Madison, WI) Enjoy two open studio sessions at the Midwest Clay Project. Kids’ open studio is an opportunity for families to attend on a drop-in basis and children are encouraged to experiment and work independently without the constraints of a particular goal. This is a time for children to explore building, banging, cutting, pinching, rolling, etc… with a mound of clay. Studio staff are always available to help everyone get started, make suggestions, and problem-solve. Pottery wheels are generally not available during Kids’ Open Studio, though exceptions may be made for kids ages 10 and up with prior wheel experience at Midwest Clay Project.
Kid’s open studio is best suited to children 3 & up.
