Item Description
Encaustic, 18" x 13"
Item Special Note
Encaustic was first used in funeral portraits in Egypt around 100 A.D. The "recipe" for my paintings is pigment, beeswax, and damar resin, mixed and formed into blocks, heated to melting and applied hot to the surface.
