Avory Faucette is the Director of Operations at the National Center for Transgender Equality, and formerly worked as Outreach Coordinator for the National Research Center for Women and Families in Washington, DC.  Zie has read hundreds of resumes and cover letters in the process of recruiting full-time employees, interns, and legal fellows, and is familiar with non-profit organizations from tiny local shops to the biggest national offices.  Zie has direct experience in the LGBT rights, women's rights, health, and international development sectors but is happy to work with applicants with any interests in the progressive non-profit field.  Zie has hired for communications, development, law, policy, social work, and public health positions.  Zie is also an experienced writer and copyeditor.
