Dr. Stone holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from UC Berkeley and a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UCLA and a member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association). She is also an accomplished education journalist and has written for J Weekly, The Forward, Bay Citizen, and other publications, including a regular column in Examiner.com. Dr. Stone works with students of all abilities, including students with significant learning differences. She is the parent of two BHDS alumni and has worked with many BHDS families. Dr. Stone was also recently featured in the LA Times for her work on behalf of students.
