Item Description
Throw a birthday party at Smith Memorial Playhouse and top it off with a basket of goodies from Philadelphia-based PBS Kids Sprout!
The 6 1/2 acre Playground includes the Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide and more than 50 pieces of unique, age-appropriate and accessible pieces of play equipment for children up to 10 years old. The 24,000 square foot Playhouse, designed for children 5 and younger, gives them a chance to “drive” the train, “cook” in the kitchen, ride tricycles in Smithville and much, much more.
We are offering a gift certificate for one two-hour party space rental:
- The Side Porch is for children 10 and younger for up to 20 children, and is available April through October.
- The Party Room is for children 5 and younger for up to 15 children, and is available year-round.
Birthday parties take place on Saturdays and Sundays and include:
- two-hour space rental
- t-shirt and crown for birthday child
- printable directions to Smith
- a staff person to check in throughout the party.

SMITH is located in East Fairmount Park just above Kelly Drive near 33rd and Oxford Streets
Since birthday party slots fill up quickly, Smith suggests you call at least two months in advance to secure your preferred date.
