Item Description
Accompany outdoors journalist Gary Engberg on a day trip to locate and count bald eagles. Gary is a member of the Ferry Bluff Eagle Council in Sauk City, Wisconsin, a group dedicated to counting eagles through the winter.
Gary will take 2 or 3 people on a tour through the area looking for eagles at some of their winter locations. The trip will last 2 to 3 hours visiting known eagle viewing sites around Sauk, Columbia, and Dane Counties.
This is a great trip for photographers and folks who would like to see eagles in their natural setting.
Item Special Note
The influx of eagles is totally dependent on the weather. The best times are early in the am or late afternoon. January and February are the best months. Gary counts eagles every other Sunday.
