Item Description

Start yourself or someone you care about off on an enjoyable lifetime activity! 

  • One hour beginner's knitting lesson for an adult or child, at mutually agreeable location within 30
    miles of Framingham, MA
  • Yarn and pair of knitting needles to make one simple scarf. Instructor will purchase yarn and needles following phone consultation with successful bidder regarding preferences.
  • Printed reference materials.
  • Up to one hour phone or Skype follow-up as needed.

Donor/Instructor is MetroWest Legal Services Board Vice President, Katherine Garrahan. 

 

Item Special Note

Some children have enough dexterity to knit at age 6, or in some cases younger, but the best age to learn to knit varies widely. Being interested and excited enough to pay attention and enjoy the process is the most important indicator of readiness.

Any travel vouchers, tickets, items or gift certificates are non-refundable and non-replaceable unless otherwise noted by the vendor. In the event that they are misplaced, BiddingForGood/MetroWest Legal Services is not responsible for reimbursement or compensation for the value of the item.

To Collect your Prize:
All auction prizes may be picked up at MetroWest Legal Services, 63 Fountain St, Suite 304, Framingham, during our Holiday Open House, December 13th from 4pm-6pm; or on weekdays when the office is open, between 9am-5pm.

If you prefer, gift cards, gift certificates and small items can be mailed to you. Items under $250 will be sent by first-class mail; items $250 and over will be sent by USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, UPS or Certified Mail. There is no additional charge if shipped within the continental US.
