Item Description

You are bidding on an 18 hole round of golf for four including cart rental at the private Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club.*

Stepping onto the first tee is breathtaking with sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay to the right and the rolling hills of Palo Alto and the Arastradero Wild Life Preserve to the left. Beauty continues throughout the course making for a unique golf experience. The 18-hole course features 6,269 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Blue grass.

Originally designed by famed architect Clark Glasson in 1958, the course was most recently redesigned in 1999 by Robert Muir Graves. The golf course is challenging due to rolling hills and narrow fairways. The course plays longer than its yardage due to the elevation of the greens. Many members and guests feel that they "never play the same course twice," because of the different lies and conditions.

The views of downtown San Francisco, the Bay and the hills around the bay are spectacular; they are truly some of the finest in the area. With the panoramic views and park-like setting, you and your party might just want to enjoy the scenery if your game is having an off day.
