Item Description
Bacchus was the Roman counterpart to the Greek Dionysus; he was the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, and ecstasy. He knew how to party.
In 2013, however, we're a bit more refined. Haskell's - which Esquire Magazine called the finest wine shop between New York and California - is home to Bacchus, The Minnesota Wine Society. For Bacchus members, Haskell's hosts frequent beer and wine tastings, beer and wine cruises, Scotch tastings, and 'Fine Wine Dinners' at the Twin Cities' best restaurants.
The drinking of fine wines is an integral part of today's trend toward gracious living. The right choice of a fine wine enhances many experiences, including delicious, fine food. The purpose of Bacchus - The Minnesota Wine and Food Society is to inform, engage, and guide members to better appreciate wine as a companion to fine foods and by itself. Through a familiarity with wine will come much pleasure and enjoyment.
Membership in Bacchus is a must for the discerning wine lover. This certificate entitles you and your spouse, or significant other within the same household, to a one year membership in Bacchus - The Minnesota Wine Society.
Item Special Note
Membership also covers spouse or significant other residing in the same household.
Bidders must be 21 years of age or older.
Item to be mailed within two weeks of the auction close.
