Sherrod Barnes has performed and/or recorded with world-renowned artists such as Roberta Flack, Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, Queen Latifah, Arif Martin, Greg Philingains, Angie Stone, Kelly Rowlin, Natalie Cole, Ashford & Simpson, Layla Hathaway, Ashanti, Chantal Kreviazuk and Candi Staton, just to name few.  He has also produced and /or written for artist such as Beyonce, Angie Stone, Debrah Cox, Ashanti, Boys II Men, Mike Phillips, Gordon Chambers, Blackstreet and Raheem DeVaughn. 

Sherrod has also made several television appearances throughout his career. He has appeared on the 2004 World Music Awards with Whitney Houston, the Montel Williams Show with Silver, the Rosie O'Donnell & Martha Stewart Show with Roberta Flack, the Apprentice with the OJays and the Good Morning America Show with Kelly Rowland.

Sherrod's extraordinary talents are definitely making a fresh new mark on todays music industry and there is so much more yet to come.

WBLS is currently the flagship station of Steve Harvey's syndicated morning show. Other current WBLS personalities include Jeff Foxx, Shalia, Lenny Green, Felix Hernandez,Imhotep Gary Byrd, and Dahved Levy.

During its heyday in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Frankie Crocker was WBLS' program director and afternoon disc jockey, and is credited with defining what became the station's signature Urban Contemporary sound. Crocker served three stints at WBLS during his career. WBLS was also the longtime home of Hal Jackson, a pioneering Black radio personality and co-founder of parent company Inner City Broadcasting. Jackson's Sunday Classics program aired weekly from the station's inception until just before his death on May 23, 2012.
