Welcome to the place for your romantic or family Minnesota vacation! Located in Grand Marais Minnesota, on Lake Superior’s beautiful North shore, Harbor Inn is a family run hotel with clean comfort and a personal touch. Nestled in Grand Marais Harbor in the very center of the downtown, we boast the landmark location in the heart of Grand Marais with walking access to all of the festivals, attractions, unique shops and destination restaurants our quaint little town has to offer.
We are a family owned restaurant, serving year round breakfast, lunch, dinner, and, of course, pies! Our menu reflects the vividly changing seasons, the rich culinary traditions that exist here, as well as spotlighting the vast array of local foods available. As you will see, maple syrup, wild rice, berries, honey and fresh fish are plentifully represented.
The Pie Place Cafe is located at The Harbor Inn hotel, downtown on the harbor in Grand Marais, only a short ride from Lutsen mountain and ski resort, and Minnesota's Boundary Waters and canoe area.
The restaurant atmosphere is informal and cozy, the interior taking inspiration from the natural surroundings. The phenomenal view from the expansive windows lets you take in the beauty of the harbor, with its lighthouse. In the summer, you may even enjoy a nice weather at some of our sidewalk tables.
