Item Special Note
Ms. Gantt loved quilting and loved going to quilt shows but would never show her own. Ms. Gantt had 7 children, 42 grand children and 48 great grand children. Her gift to each of them all when they got married was a quilt. Ms. Gantt quilted each of them on an old wooden frame hanging from the ceiling, she would lift it up under the lamp lights each night to see if she had missed a stitch then would fix it the next morning. After giving all the children a quilt this was the only one left and the children wanted to donate it to show everyone Ms. Gantts work of love through her quilts.
This item was donated by a county in the host state of Tennessee and will be onsite at convention, available for pick-up.
