The first of the four family-owned businesses, Szechuan Empire (South) began pleasing palates in 1990. Tom Lin, his mother, Wu Shu Hsia, brother, Eric and sister, Michelle offer an extensive menu including everything from fried (or boiled) dumplings (pot stickers) to the Lins' Famous General Tso Chicken. Other items include Hunan Chicken, Kung Pao Shrimp, Vegetable Moo Shoo, Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls, and an endless variety of House Specials. The homemade, Lin family recipe sauces and Szechuan-style cooking guarantee a treat for your taste buds!
Located on the southeast corner of Five Mile and Middlebelt Roads in Livonia, this warm, quaint space offers simple dining with fast service and excellent food ... perfect tables for two, or for the whole family.
* The highest quality meats, vegetables and all other ingredients are always carefully chosen by the Lin family.
You and three guests can enjoy a cooking class from Tom Lin on February 28, 2013 at Szechuan Empire from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. This class will be instructed in the preparation of vegetable fried rice and mixed vegetable chicken.
