"Winemaking and filmmaking are two great art forms that are very important in the development of California. Classic Bordeaux wines often blended to yield increased complexity and balance in the wine. This year’s Director’s Cut Cab does include a small portion of Petit Verdot in the blend. Immensely concentrated with supple and ripened tannins, this wine showcases a sophisticated bouquet of boysenberries, spiced oak and incense, plus dark, rich flavors of plums, cherries and currants along with sweet notes of cocoa and crème de menthe. Director’s Cut Cabernet will drink well now, but it also has ample structure and dimension to gain complexity in the years to come.
